We live in a crazy world (especially right now) and the world of wine can seem daunting to most. So with so many producers and brands of wine it is sometimes to know if you are buy great wines or merely averages wine and if it is really is good value for money? After all with unlimited choice how can any of us ensure that we are getting a great deal?
My personal mission is to make & discover wines that are fantastic quality at a fair price, but what is fair? We make and buy our wines with and from the wineries directly and ensure they are paid a fair price for their viticultural and vinification skills. In return we expect and demand the very best quality wines. We then sell directly to our distributors and in the UK also our clients without a huge sales force or expensive marketing campaigns.
So when you buy any of our wines more of the the price you paid (apart from duties and tax) is going to the people who make the wine, own the vineyards and have put their heart and soul into the wine. Of course, I make a little bit but trust me - it is not going to be enough enough to retire anytime soon :)
In normal years I visit our vineyards and wineries regularly and work directly with our winemakers
in most cases to ensure that the style is consistent with our brand expectations.
Most importantly, I love what I do and am passionate about our brands, our relationships with our wineries and clients and sharing my experiences and knowledge of the wine industry whilst learning something new every single day.
Thank you and feel free to get in touch with me anytime
